Need a quick grab-and-go breakfast for those mornings when you’re running out the door to school or work? Try one of these handy on-the-run ideas!
Guys, let’s talk breakfast.
Namely, the breakfasts served on school days.
And especially the breakfast served when I’m 2 seconds away from literally begging my son to put his socks on.
These are the breakfasts served when we are running out the door, grabbing homework, mentally tabulating the best-case scenario for getting to school and work on time.
Or, tabulating the worst-case scenario #glasshalfemptygang
Because that’s really the key in the AM, right? Once everyone is up and awake, the rush kicks into overdrive.
It’s at that moment that I need to be on my A-game to make sure we get out the door, on time, with little-to-no yelling, everything in the correct backpack and teeth brushed and shoes tied.
Luckily, I’ve got a fat roster of quick, healthy grab-and-go breakfasts I can turn to on busy mornings.
(Extra points for breakfasts that I can press into the hands of my kids while we rush out the door)
