  1. Yes. And thanks for suggestion for the chicken, I am now going to try it tonight! for a teenage boy/girl party. I think they’ll be impressed!

  2. Hey Denise! We made this into a dip for our Christmas Eve party, and I combined 16oz sour cream with about 2 tablespoons of the seasoning. It depends on how strongly you want the dip flavored, and that combo worked well for us.
For dressing, since the packaged ranch instructions recommends 1 cup mayo, 1 cup buttermilk and 1 package of ranch to make dressing, I’d substitute about 1 tablespoon of this seasoning in place of the packaged stuff. Please note I haven’t made this seasoning into a dressing yet, so this is just a suggestion.
Another idea is to use the seasoning on chicken breasts, Shake & Bake style. Combine the breasts, just enough seasoning to coat them, and a few spoonfuls of sour cream in a ziplock bag, shake the living daylights out of it, then bake til done. You could add some breadcrumbs to the bag for a flavored crunch, too.
    I hope that helps!

  3. Girl, I am so with you. Trashy food 4ever. And love the idea of making it homemade, too — this is genius. i’ll have to try it sometime.
